My name is Teresa Rusnak and I was born in Rzeszow, Poland. My aspirations to become an artist started at the early age of seven. I was inspired while observing my father create his first oil painting. What left an impression on me was his ability to take a blank canvas and turn it into a beautiful work of art. My mother displayed equally artistic talents. She pursued her interest through art school but opportunities were limited in Poland. My mother gave up her dream and came to the United States to obtain a better standard of living so that my brother and I could pursue and realize our dreams.
The tragic death of my mother in the year of 2001 put things in perspective for me. It was a turning point in my life. I was enlightened to the fact that to lead a fulfilling life we must all seek out what makes us happy. I went back to college and found my passion which is Art and Education.
For the past 20 years I have been happily married to a wonderful man. We have a 17 year old son who is kind, loving and a very smart individual. I like to say he gets it after his mother.
I visited Rice University for the first time on October 18, 2022. I immediately fell in love with it. I felt as if I was put into a story book and became enchanted. From the start when I walked into the Welcome Center I literally felt welcomed. The receptionist was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was very helpful and retold
I visited Rice University for the first time on October 18, 2022. I immediately fell in love with it. I felt as if I was put into a story book and became enchanted. From the start when I walked into the Welcome Center I literally felt welcomed. The receptionist was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was very helpful and retold the history of the buildings on the campus. Each tree had a plaque. Every sculpture was amazing. I got lost a couple of times exploring your wonderful campus and everyone was so eager to help me with directions. On that day, October 18th, 2022 I thought to myself that working for Rice University would be my dream come true.
The next time I visited Rice University was on January 27th, 2024 for the Yes Prep 25th Year Anniversary Festival. It was just as magical to walk the campus for the second time.
I made this website in GoDaddy Website Editor. I had to do it because I was pressed for time. Since I haven't been actively looking for a new job my old portfolio website expired a while ago. It was a coincidence that I searched for Web Developer jobs on Glass Door and found your ad. I apologize for not using pure HTML, JavaScript and CSS

It won't even let you add anything to the head section.

I have been using Teresa for the last few semesters to help me with my web development and design classes and she has been awesome! She is very consistent, takes her time, and really helps me to understand when I am struggling with a certain area of coding or designing my webpages. She always wants to know how well I do on my assignments and that makes me know she really cares that I do well in my work. I recommend her to anyone needing assistance or guidance with their web classes. - Jamie
My son had never taken a art class and was struggling completing projects in his Art Design college class. We were able to connect with Teresa through Wyzant and she worked with my son on a couple projects teaching him how to complete the assignment and showing him how to work with the software. Teresa was very knowledgeable, highly effective communicator, very patient and was very thorough in working with my son. You can tell and see that she has a lot of experience and I highly recommend Teresa as a tutor. - Douglas
Teresa provided tutoring on CSS and JavaScript topics pertaining to an IVY league information systems graduate program course at Harvard University. Teresa demonstrated good grasp of the topics at hand and, more importantly, showcased her ability to provide tutoring regarding the same. - Wayne
Teresa is a wonderful tutor if you struggle in web design and you need someone who is patient, understanding, and will help you understand what you are doing wrong. She worked hard to help me understand what I was needing to do and never was upset or frustrated when I made mistakes or didn't get something. I would recommend Teresa to anyone needing a solid tutor for their web classes. - Jane
